2nd team report: Our season began brilliantly, winning games and only losing a couple. We were all eager to score goals; having a good forward line makes such a difference. After Christmas we continued to fight to stay 2nd. Unfortunately we often felt cheated, and a little demoralised. Through constant phone calls to Sharon (my P.A), who kept me informed, we knew we were not going up. I would like to thank everyone for their weekly commitment. Thank you to Diane and the 1st team for helping us out with the umpiring. Well done to Jo for her super saves; the defenders for keeping the attackers out of the D; and the forwards and halves for their goals and marking. Vicky was our highest scorer. We have gone up to 4th division due to Kent hockey beginning reorganised, so there is a God!

Webmaster's note - sorry, Kent hockey reviewed the leagues and the 2nd team will be in the 5th division next season.
